Crystal Shot Studio Client Portal is a web application operated by Crystal Shot Studio, a photography studio run by Spadea Technologies, LLC. It is the system the studio uses to deliver finished photographs to the people who hired it. The application runs at portal.crystalshotstudio.com.
What the application does
The portal serves two groups of people.
Customers sign in to see the photographs from a shoot they booked. Each customer sees only the galleries assigned to them. Inside a gallery a customer can preview every photograph, pay the outstanding balance by card, and download the full-resolution files once payment clears. Before payment the previews carry a watermark.
Photographers and studio staff sign in to the same application to run the business behind those galleries: create and upload galleries, assign them to customers, send invitations, set prices, record payments, and manage the portfolios shown on the public website.
Who can use it
Access is by invitation only. There is no public sign-up. The studio creates an account for a customer when their gallery is ready and emails them an invitation. Someone without an invitation cannot create an account or reach any gallery.
Signing in with Google
A customer can sign in either with the emailed invitation or with a Google account registered to the same email address.
When you choose Google, Google shares your name and email address with the portal, and nothing else. The portal uses them for one purpose: to identify which account is signing in, so it can show you the galleries that belong to you.
The portal never receives your Google password. It requests no access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar, Photos, or any other Google service or data. It cannot read, change, or delete anything in your Google account. The only Google permissions it asks for are the basic sign-in scopes that carry your name and email address.
You can disconnect the portal from your Google account at any time from your Google account permissions page.
What the application stores
The portal stores your name and email address, the galleries assigned to you, and a record of payments made against those galleries. Card payments are processed by Stripe; the portal never stores card numbers.
For the full detail of what is collected and why, see the Privacy Policy. The rules for using the website and the portal are in the Terms of Service.
